Do You Like Unique?
Well you are most certainly not alone, the high streets are all well and
good and serve their purpose for everyday items but I have always found myself
walking around and around looking for that one item that stands out from the
rest, even when you do find that something special you know there thousands in
other homes around the country.
So, with
a passion for all things vintage and steampunk, I turned my hand to making my
own bespoke items.
The full story begins with a search for some
cushions for my little den, after searching high and low I decided to print
some images on to some handmade cushions. This gave me exactly what I wanted
for where I wanted it.
Lots of friends and family commented on various items that I
had made and more than a few said I should put them online, I even had
requests for other items.
Being a mother to my two lovely daughters takes up most of
my time but recently my youngest has started nursery, meaning I have had a
little free time and with that, and support from friends and family The Design
Asylum was born.
